WORK
It’s the weekend again. The kids are bored. We’re appealing to the parent who might have written off visiting a historic site. Too boring. Too ‘educational.’ But Historic Environment Scotland is far from fusty and dusty. It’s an adventure waiting to happen.
We didn’t talk about ruins and ramparts. Instead we talked about the stories that families could jump right into – and finish off themselves. Stuffing their faces at a Queen’s Feast (she ate with her hands, after all), conquering a castle, learning to joust. Experiences that make memories. The #bestdaysever.
Snappy lines really captured the sense of fun awaiting at Historic Environment Scotland’s 360 sites. We achieved a record-breaking year in membership sales (including a 44% increase of online sales). And at key event locations, footfall was up 100% year over year. All the more money to preserve these incredible places.
